Valentine’s Day is coming. Shop windows are already decorated with different items with the valentine’s theme – hearts, arrows, flowers, Cupids, everything starts moving in that rhythm – the rhythm of love. As we all know, Valentine's Day is a day on which lovers traditionally express their love for each other on different ways. They give flowers, chocolates and sweets to each other, send greeting cards. Some people don’t appreciate this day, they concern it as every other regular day, but we can’t deny that there is something romantic in the air on that day.







Children are also attracted from the valentine’s themed gadgets. They are made so cute and captivating that make children to love them even if this holiday is not essentially dedicated to them. In any case this day is a great opportunity to stay with your family and enjoy spending time together and maybe playing some interesting games with you children. Here are some games for children that could give a great fun for the adults on this day also.








Everybody knows that playing Bingo is a very interesting game. It can be also very interesting if you change your regular cards for Bingo with valentine’s themed cards. Valentine theme might include: card, heart, red, pink, white, cupid, St. Valentine, kisses, hugs… Now the game is the same but refreshed, and also asked from you to use your imagination and creativity to make it more interesting.







Another interesting game is ‘Valentine Box Contest’. It looks very easy but it also requires from you and your child to use you fantasy and creativity and make a small piece of art. You will need shoeboxes for everyone, decorating supplies, scissors and glue. You should decorate the box and make something extraordinary from something so ordinary. Players are judged and winners are named for categories funniest, prettiest, most creative…







‘Find the Hearts’ is an interesting hidden object game dedicated generally for children. You need over 100 construction paper hearts cut out that should be hidden while the children are out of the room. Children should work in groups and they should find as many hearts as they can. After that they go back to their tables to count how many hearts the whole group has. It would be more challenging if there is some prize for the winners.








‘Who Do You Love?’ is also a great idea for a Valentine party game. This game will make everyone move because is a variant of musical chairs. Players dance and they should react fast and find a seat when some category is called out. This categories sound like "everyone that wears blue" or "everyone who has a cat". There could be a winner but the games could be played as long as the players are having fun!







‘Pass the Heart’ is an interesting way to train flexibility. About the equipment, you need a pillow heart for the two teams. The first player puts the pillow between his chin and neck and passes it to the next player. They should finish the circle and the first team to complete the game wins.
